Mutual Fund Salesperson
Looking to recruit a sales person who will focus on the development of new business
for our mutual fund family through intermediaries, including brokerage-affiliated
financial advisers and independent Registered Investment Advisers. The firm offers
a broad array of value-oriented investment products, including alternative investments,
separate accounts, sub-advised portfolios and mutual funds. We manage a total of
$12 billion assets and are looking to grow strategically, with an emphasis on enhancing
the distribution of several of our businesses, including our flagship mutual funds.
Qualifications:
- Up to 10 years financial services experience and up to 5 years of sales experience
representing mutual funds to Financial Advisor community
- Demonstrable existing relationships with top producers at wirehouses
- Knowledge of mutual fund and other asset management vehicles
- Clear understanding of the high net worth marketplace and its varied distribution
channels
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills.
- Client service experience including strong retention capabilities
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitive practices
- Team player
- MBA or CFA a plus

Client Service Associate
Seeking a client service associate to service both separate accounts and mutual
fund products.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as a point of contact for client and prospective investor requests and coordinate
internal efforts across multiple departments to support client needs
- Support the client account life cycle: opening, reporting, restructuring, and closing
processes
- Manage client recordkeeping database and update monthly commentary, footnotes, quarterly
data, CRM notes, employee profiles, etc.
- Prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly reports, yearly tax statements, year-end
letter, customized client reports, etc.
- Prepare materials for client meetings and presentations
- Prepare client account and performance reviews
- Prepare consultant reporting and due diligence questionnaires
- Audit client service files, website and databases to ensure accuracy of information
- Proactively maintain knowledge of firm’s products to maximize client service
- Develop operational efficiencies and initiate solutions to automate routine tasks
- Special projects as needed
Requirements/Work Experience:
- BA/BS from a rigorous undergraduate program
- 3-5 years of experience providing client service to institutional investors
- Strong knowledge of the investment management business and marketplace
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with competing deadlines
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Experience with MS Office (Access, excel, outlook, word, powerpoint) and MS CRM

.Net Developer
The .Net Developer will be responsible for supporting and developing a wide range
of web based applications and web services. The Developer should have strong development
experience utilizing MS .NET and MS SQL Server and should be well versed in the
fundamentals of the web application development on Windows platforms. The candidate
should be able to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including
but not limited to team members, management, and stake holders regarding project
details and issues. The candidate should have strong problem solving skills and
possess the ability to multi-task and thrive in a flexible and changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering, Assessment, Scope Development, Implementation & Testing.
- Creation of a project documents, change documents and others as needed
- Prepare technical documents from requirements and scope assessments
- Plan and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Ability to become a seamless member of the Technology team and provide input as
needed
- Ability to meet / adhere to project deadlines
- Ability to liaise with various business stakeholders at different levels
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (preferred).
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Languages / Web Frameworks: C# / ASP.NET+ & SharePoint 2007+
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008
- Front End: JavaScript, CSS
- Strong OOP / OOD knowledge
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Financial services experience
- Knowledge Rapid Application Development, Iterative Development a plus
